Here is an update on the progress of the Respect Our River campaign. Five Life Jacket Loaner Stations will be installed at Roberston Road, PV Park, Morad Park, Tate Pump House, and Lake Mckenzie (aka Bryan Stock Pond) once the ground thaws. The stations will be restocked with life jackets from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. We are looking for community service groups to volunteer for a weekend. Please remember that the life jackets are loaners and in order to save more lives and keep this program going, people need to return jackets. Also, if anyone still has life jackets you borrowed from a fire station, its not too late to return them! Our official launch will be in April (date TBD should know by January) at Thankful Thursday at the Beacon Club. Thank you to Blue Envelope Health Fund whos funding is purchasing the signs (with safety info) for the life jacket loaner stations and 1,000 life jackets!! Thank you to First Interstate Bank for purchasing educational material for our school program.
