Here is another killing, this time of a mentally ill man. He apparently stole two sodas from a local bodega. This costed his life. The guy had a knife and was a safe distance away from the police and away from other people which put no one in immediate danger. Keep in mind the man had mental illness. This is what tasers are for but first instinct of police is to grab a gun. Then once the man is shot dead, they handcuff his body. Does that add up? The purpose of my ALS post is to put all components together of a bigger picture. Black organs are donated the most yet once organs are needed, blacks are not likely to receive them. Does black life have the same value as white life in this system? Was Travons character put on trial after he was killed? Did they drug test Travon dead body or his killer, despite the fact that Travon had done nothing wrong? In the end, was Travons murderer justified but the eyes of the court? Then you are pouring buckets of water over your head for a cause that is not your own, while you are suffering. Wake up and connect the pieces. The biggest fear is that you will wake up while the whole illusion, blind white light, little white lies are crashing. Then you are met with hostilities once the violation is confronted. Ever been cheated on and found out and confronted the person about it. The person then gets mad at you as if you are making problems for pointing it out. They deny, lash out, hostile for their own transgression. Is this not what some people are doing right now? This is a defense mechanism. Many caucasian people lash out at when truths that make them uncomfortable are brought to light. This is because the power dynamic of the relationship may shift out of their favor. Psychology 101. If speaking the truth makes anyone feel uncomfortable, that is their issue, not yours. Dont let the need to be validated by others stop you from doing the things that need to be done to benefit you, your family, your children and your community. If someone does not want you to be self aware, that person is your enemy. When you are taking steps to become self aware and you share truths, if those truths anger someone, you know that being is not of truth.
