Here is another photo of the Hollinger Shoe box houses that were built by Noah Timmins taken in the 1920s before they started building them the way we know them today. The monthly rent at the time was 18 dollars a month. Photo no. 2 is the old St Marys hospital and the building beside it was the nuns residence. The hospital was run by the nuns who risked their lives to tend to the sick and dying. Leaving them vunerable during epidemics.
