Here is how President Jonathan will win all the Yoruba States on - TopicsExpress

Here is how President Jonathan will win all the Yoruba States on February 14. 1. If we go by the last gubernatorial election in Ekiti State in which the PDP defeated the incumbent APC governor in 16 out of the possible 16 local governments, President Jonathan will get a super majority of 85% of the total votes in this State. 2. Considering the fact that the people of Ondo State are against power returning to the North because of how Gambari humiliated the Yoruba people for 50 years and with the performance of Mimiko, it is fair to predict here and now that the people of Ondo State will give 85% of the total votes to President Jonathan. Recall, it was in this state that the APC came a distant third in the last gubernatorial election. 3. The State of Osun will also vote in favour of President Jonathan. The rationale for this is very simple. For four years, the citizenry of the State had waited on Omisore to be governor than Aregbesola who had been governor for four years before the last gubernatorial election. Omisore, went into that election as an underdog and a discredited politician, but he got 48% of the total ballots. The 48% votes Omisore got came from PDP diehard supporters. They are expected to vote for President Jonathan too. The 52% who voted for Aregbesola are mainly built up of APC supporters, but now divided along those who want power return to the North and those against Gambari presidency. Grounded in this reality, it is projected that the members of the APC, who voted Aregbesola, but do not want power to go back to the North will vote for President Jonathan. If this is the case, President Jonathan will win 65% of the total votes in the State of Osun. 4. ACN in Oyo State had two Senators and four House of Representatives Members before the amalgamation with the CPC and ANPP to form the APC. After the fusion, the two APC Senators left the party and joined PDP and Accord Party respectively. Likewise, two of the four House of Representatives Members who were elected under the APC left and joined the PDP. As of today in Oyo State, the PDP has two Senators with one for Accord Party and not a single Senator for the APC. The 14 House of Representatives Members representing Oyo State at the National Assembly, Abuja, PDP has 10, Accord Party and the APC has two respectively. Granted the fact that the PDP and the Accord Party are one and the same, this means that currently in Oyo State, the PDP has three Senators with nothing for the APC and in the House of Representatives, Abuja, the PDP has 12 out of the 14 representatives from Oyo State with only 2 for the APC. In the Oyo State House of Assembly, the PDP/Accord Party has the bulk of its members. On the ground in this State, it is a PDP State. This evidence is more apparent with four governorship candidates from this State alone: Ladoja of Accord Party Akala of Labour Party Teslim of PDP Ajimobi of APC The first three individuals and their political parties are wholly in support of President Jonathan. They altogether control more than 75% (25% apiece) of the electorate in the State while APC controls the remaining 25%. Given these scenarios, President Jonathan is projected to gain 65% of the total votes in Oyo State. 5. In the case of Ogun State, the home State of Awolowo and Abiola, two great Yoruba sons imprisoned and murdered by the Gambari respectively, the State will never vote for any Northerner including Buhari. Amosu of the APC controls about 25% of the state voters. Amosus deputy, who is at present a member of the SDP, along with the former APC leader of the State, Osoba, with more than half of the State Assembly members, Senators and House of Representatives Members, who are now members of the SDP, control 40% of the electorate in Ogun State right now. Buruji Kashamu and other PDP members control the remaining 35% of the State electorate. These three parties have their diehard supporters. SDP with the PDP control 75% of the entire electorate in Ogun State. These two parties are acting together to ensure victory for President Jonathan. Mr Jonathan is expected to generate 75% of the total votes from Ogun State. 6. Lagos State is divided into five parts: Epe Badagary Ikorodu Lagos Island Lagos Mainland PDP in Lagos State controls Epe, Badagary and Ikorodu areas. APC controls the Lagos Island and Lagos Mainland. Tinubu is well hated by the people of Lagos State right now, particularly those from Epe, Badagary and Ikorodu. PDP will leverage on this hatred and with the usage of force and monetary inducement, Mr Jonathan is expected to get more than 60% of the total votes. These are the realities on the ground throughout Yorubaland. The other Yorubas spheres - Kwara, Kogi, Edo and Delta States will naturally go the way of President Jonathan. Dont be fooled by Yoruba-APC social media lies and propaganda. February 14 is the #FailBuhari Day. #VoteJonathan
