Here is how a Pod Tourney at Catfish Acres works! We divide the fishing area into 25 equal spots. The tournament will start at 5:00pm. Between 4:30-4:45 we will bring everyone together and do a draw for starting positions. For this last pod you will get 3 spots. The first number you draw is where you fish until 7pm. Then we will take a 10 minute break and by 7:15 you will have a 2nd spot. You will fish that spot until 8:45. At that point we will take a 10 minute break and re-draw for your last spot that you will fish until midnight. The person who catches the most weight of catfish between all 3 spots will be the winner. We will pay cash to first and 2nd place. There will also be good side pots for tagged fish, progressive fish, Largest Blue, Largest Flathead, Largest Channel, and largest Non Catfish. All together winnings could be between 1200-1400. We only have 16 spots remaining. Entry fee is only 50.00 and includes fishing pass, tourney entry, progressive entry, tagged entry and a campsite. Spots are on a first come basis.
