A parent might respond, if pressed, “Oh, it’s so they can enter you into the System.” Yes – it is for that reason. To be “in the System” is to be a subject of it as well. It comes with certain privileges, but also carries with it its own liabilities. It’s those liabilities they never tell you about, meanwhile they broadcast all of the so-called “privileges” 24/7.
