Here is little vid treatment I did of my latest vaca overseas to Iceland, Scotland and England. I aptly titled it Andreas Journey because she was a trooper in putting up with a filmmaker and all his toys and of course completely accessible to film in these environments, and why the hell not really? (Its over 4 mins which might be long in the tooth, but damn, it was a lot of places) Iceland is an amazing country, its just unworldly and its astonishing that a place of such bleak beauty exists. My mouth was on the floor the entire time. Should you get the chance in your lifetime to go, run at that chance. If you do, get out into the country, Reykjavik is a fantastic city but youd be really missing out if you didnt make your way into the country. England and Scotland are of course fantastic, such tremendous culture. I was able to catch up with friends and family after not seeing them for quite a few years so that was wonderful. I shot the video on both the Sony FS700 as well as the Sony A7S. It was really my first time with the A7S so mistakes were made and that made for a great education. The A7S is a great camera that has so many fantastic features, it will be in my pack every time. However, be sure to get some ND, such as the ND throttle if your using non Sony lenses. Itll save ya. Otherwise it was a great compliment camera with the more advanced FS700. I wish I could have spent more time in each of these places as time was really short. you really need to stay for awhile to shake the tourist in you just to get creative. Most of it was me running out of a car/bus/train to make the most of 5 minutes Its definitely a trip Id love to do again now that I have a bit of knowledge. Hope you enjoy some of it as much as I loved filming it. Just awesome to see those tagged in this while we were there along the way! https://vimeo/103388525
