Here is man that was wrongly convicted and spent years in prison. This motivated him to rise possibly higher than he would have otherwise. But this incident fueled a fire in him to accomplish a tremendous goal. I remember as a youth nothing as dramatic as this but being fueled by the need for a civil rights movement in the first place and the works of MLK and others. And just as important And maybe even more so A song. Say it loud Im black and Im proud. I took it to heart it motivated me to do something regardless of my circumstance What do you need To motivate you to Rise to your feet as oppose to living your life on your knees
