Here is my 12th 30 of 2014. A post spawn early summer beast weighing 34 lbs. 4 oz. and measuring 39 inches long. To show the results of a good baiting campaign for the first time ever on my first cast after arriving I hooked this fish 20 SECONDS AFTER CASTING rod in hand as I was walking the rod back to the pod!!! Im not sure if something like that will ever happen again with such a beast of a fish. lol I did two days of heavy baiting with different batches of my homemade boilie chops ( one recipe flavored with Concept Fishmeal XS Flavor, one recipe flavored with Coconut Emulsion Flavor and the third a homemade twist of flavors ;) ) I put in an 18 hour session before the majority of the big carp began their early summer migratory movements elsewhere. This was the first and biggest of a 13 fish session. This fish fell to a hook bait choice of a Scopex 15mm pop up tipped with a Pineapple Ice Cream dumbell pop up.
