Here is my 14th 30 of 2014. A mid summer beast mirror weighing 30 lbs. 10 oz. falling to a Banana Ice Cream 15mm pop up. August is a very difficult month to track down big fish, but putting time into a swim Ive neglected for the most part since 2012, resulted in this awesome capture. Pre baiting and session feeding with a variety of flavors of K-1 boilies in sizes 16mm, 20mm & 24mm, as well as my homemade boilie chops kept the carp feeding throughout the night with good action from high teen - mid 20 commons finishing off the session with this stunner right before dawn.
