Here is my Comet Lovejoy Q2 shot from late Wednesday night. This was taken at Big Bend National Park Texas under clear skies, 37 degrees and no wind. I have a couple of scopes, but wanted to get the comet with all conventional camera gear. I used a Canon 6D, 400mm F5.6L lens and Orion tripod/alt-az tracking. One exposure for 177 seconds, ISO 6400. There has been some discussion that the image is backwards but thats relative when the object is directly overhead. Sort of depends on how one looks at it. This is how it came out of my camera.
