Here is my cheese sauce recipe for my gorgeous cyber bestie Jane at Almost Jane. Also my husband who has no clue and never will. He knows it has cheese in it. That is all. Melt 50g of butter in a saucepan on low-medium heat. Wait til bubbling. Add 2 tbs plain flour and stir until bubbling also. Add 2 cups milk, the first half cup quite slowly so it thickens to a paste then chuck the rest in. Stir continuously until thickened. Takes about 5 minutes. Take off heat and stir in a cup of grated cheese, a cup and a half if you want. I sprinkle a bit of nutmeg into mine as well. This is what I use to make my cauliflower cheese and lasagne. If I can be bothered to make lasagne. Hasnt happened for a while.
