Here is my commentary on the game between Kasimdzhanov and Jobava, FIDE Grand Prix in Tashkent, Uzbekistan - Round 3. After another unusual opening Jobava had a verysolid, although passive position. Kasimdzhanov tried to smash it down with a pawn sacrifice, but Jobava maneuvered his pieces in the back rank and set up solid defenses. Black slowly pushed White back and his extra pawn was starting to become significant. When Kasimdzhanov decided to take the pawn back by force, it was based on a miscalculation and Jobava seized his opportunity.
