Here is my final take on it. (Its a bit lengthy. Request to read when comfortable.) Long Marches (Two Pakistanis sitting together) First telling the second: Brother, I am hurt by the chaos and anarchy in Islamabad. They are so emotional and aggressive people. I hate this type of chaos and its aggressive protesters targeting the state buildings and demanding the fall of government in an undemocratic way. These long marchers are causing loss to many lives. They are injuring innocent people. They are causing loss of millions to national exchequer daily and yes Uncle Fazal tells it is a source of vulgarity as well.( wet eyes) The Second (Patting on his brothers shoulder) replied: Brother, this is really horrible. Anyone seeing this would be hurt. I appreciate your love for peace and non-violence. Now listen to me brother. There are two types of chaos in this country; the one is visibly present in Islamabad for the last 19 days, the other is prevalent in every nook and corner of this country for the last 67 years. You are seeing the first type. Now I would like to seek your attention towards the other type. This chaos is in fact a Long March of the status quo. Lets have a look at the daily loss it makes to the people of this land. At peace times, this march of status quo is causing the killing of more than 100 people in average 19 days and no justice is available. Those being killed are also the sons of mothers whose hearts are torn apart. (This doesnt include the killings in the wave of terrorism. This is just routine democracy toll.) This chaos of status quo causes a corruption of 216 billion rupees (official figures) in average 19 days. And there is no accountability. This chaos of status quo causes rape of 20s of girls in average19 days but there is no justice. These killings, this much loss of money and this much vulgarity of rapes continue uninterrupted. Now tell me brother: Which Chaos is bigger ? Which Chaos is more dangerous? Which Chaos is more suffocating ? My dear self-styled sensitive and peaceful brother, Dont you get hurt by the daily reports of murder of sons of innocent mothers ? Should I arrange videos of these killings to get you convinced? Dont you scream when the daily rapes of young girls are reported? Dont you get depressed by the 12 billions corruption figure daily? Dont you get your eyes wet when houses of the common citizens are trespassed by dacuits and Qabza-group? Are you not going crazy on this chaos of status quo ??? Is this the system that you are defending in the name of peace ??? Dear brother, Beneficiaries of the status quo confuse us , blackmail us and induces us to behave mature, peaceful and democratic because now their sole interest lies in our being peaceful and mature. They want us to be exploited in procedures of so-called democracy. They are done with and got away with all murders and corruptions. (With blood in eyes) First : Oohhhhhhh (Almost faint) Whats is the solution brother ? Isnt it democracy? Second: Solution may lie in anything and it may be very much in democracy but it doesnt lie in this brand of democracy where Mehmood Achakzai trades federation for power, fazal ur Rehman trades religion for power, Asif Zardari trades democracy for his children and Nawaz Sharif trades power for business and business for power. And lastly, these representative state buildings are meaningless when huts of the poor are raped and houses of the common are bulldozed by tyrant occupiers and system provides no justice. (Period) Education.... Ahh health...... Ah-ah Devolution.... Ahh..... Stop it please ! Suffocating .... 200-Years-evolutionary theory ... Stop it please ! Status Quo .. last breathe.. End.
