Here is my moms recipe for her carmel corn that was at my wedding... Everyone kept asking me for it so here it is... 2 cups brown sugar 1 cup butter 1/2 cup dark Karo syrup 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar 6 qts popped corn nuts if desired Cook brown sugar, butter and syrup 6 minutes from the time it starts to boil. Add salt, baking soda & cream of tartar. Stir well. Pour over popped popcorn (and nuts). Spread on cookie sheet. Bake 1 hour @ 200 degrees. YUM! Enjoy
