Here is my opinion on something that I find quite disturbing. 1. The department of basic education has changed the curricular from OBE to CAPS and god knows what else, so my question is what are the methodological correlation with regards cross reference policy with instituions of higher learning is there a continuation of caps in higher education or is there no reference perhaps these analysis might give us an understanding of the alarming drop out rate. In my view I dont think obe or caps was ever synchronised with the teaching methods of higher education . If my analysis are correct it therefore validates my assertions that there is a fundamental flaw with regards to our education policies and secondly our education lacks philosophy and would lead to a failure to achieve our national interest hence people do not understand basic economics , maths and science are a catastrophic failure ,poor land and agrarian policies these are all the results of poor education policies that lacks philosophy to develop human capital and state capacity . Oh well that is just my opinion
