Hi Everyone I am returning to Tanzania in May for 2 months to volunteer again with TAFCOM. tafcomtz/ I am so excited to be returning and will again send out updates on my activities. It has been 2 years since my last trip and I cannot wait to reconnect with the families and friends. I have contacted Nie and Jonas (TAFCOM founders) for an update and have the following information on items they need. If you wish to donate any of these items let me know and I can arrange to pick them up. If you would rather donate money, there are two choices listed after the supplies. I am grateful for anything. Tailoring Center (teaching 15 women) needs: Zippers (small and medium sizes) Thread Needles Scissors Seam rippers Seam Gauge Clear Rulers Straight pins & Safety pins Pin Cushions Tape Measures Buttons Easy patterns Thimbles Lining Fabric Matting/Batting The Children’s Center (serving 81 pre-school children) needs: Pencils Pens Erasers Pencil Sharpeners (manual as there is no electricity) Chalk Small backpacks Paper clips (or clips of any kind) NO Crayons Other Items needed: Hand Sanitizer Wet wipes Sanitary pads Soap Zip lock bags – sandwich and gallon size
