Here is our 77TH, 5* review. MAJESTIC HIDEAWAY What a great Christmas my family of eleven had at Bear Ridge Lodge last weekend! The luxurious, 5 star lodge welcomed us with every convenience needed and many fun upgrades such as the sauna and multi jetted shower which many tried ..one at a time of course! haha . To have watched my son and his ten yr old paddle around the lake even in December and to hear about the men at their shuffleboard competition in the barn still warms my heart. Randy and Becky are the best host & hostess we have ever seen! They really aim to please & take care of every need. Some of the family hiked towards the falls while others played games indoors and joked around the campfire. The main impressions of this wonderful lodge which they shared with us is the tranquility and beauty of the world that God created for us to enjoy. ..a respite from an activity-driven world, a place to be quiet and enjoy the sounds of nature, or reflect upon the meaning of our lives. it is difficult to find such a place in todays world but here lies a treasure for those who seek for such as adventure. Thank you for the memories that were placed in my grand childrens hearts as well as our own. This lodge would also be great for a small church retreat which we will keep in mind for the future.
