Youll see that our September is chock full of new releases, including The Congress with Robin Wright; Frank with Michael Fassbender; God Help the Girl by Stuart Murdoch of Belle & Sebastian; a one-night only screening of Trailer Park Boys: Dont Legalize It; To Be Takei - the new documentary on Star Treks George Takei; and the brand new film The Zero Theorem by Monty Pythons Terry Gilliam. In addition we have family matinees of the classic animated film The Iron Giant (you asked for it!); our Stanley Kubrick series installment with The Killing; our Silents, Please! series with The General and live music by Andrew Greene; our regular exploitation show with The Black Godfather; a Volunteer Info Party; Breakfast and a Movie with Breakfast at Tiffanys; a special evening with actors David Conrad and Patrick Jordan reading the poetry of Pittsburgh boxing legend Jimmy Cvetic; a special showing of the Pittsburgh-made Creepshow with actors from the film; and three chances to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show! In the future, some months will be heavier on new releases and others will have more classics, it depends on what is available - but well definitely always strive for a good mix. As an art house theater we want to provide the community with high quality, unique and eclectic programming.
