Here is our first Planned Act of Community Kindness ( PACK ): My friend Lynn Bukowski needs your help. She is the founder of Lz-Grace Veterans Retreat. Lynn is the widow of a 32 year veteran Navy SEAL, Master Chief Steve S. Bukowski and one of the finest human beings that I know. She has a story in our book In Dogs We Trust and is a fine writer. And I would not have Gander had she not helped me. Lz-Grace will provide a place for our Special Operations personnel and their families to find respite and healing after returning home from war. In addition, Lz-Grace will be providing camping opportunities for the Gold Star children of fallen SOF Warriors. Im a Gold Star family member and know how important this retreat center will be. Lynn now has an opportunity to make Lz-Grace a reality in the next few days...she just needs our financial support.
