Here is some interesting facts about this little tiny town just north of Gaza. Yad Mordechai is a small Kibbutz that has been in the cross-hair more times than I can count. There was a major battle that took place here in 1948 when Egypt decided to invade Israel with 1000 soldiers, tanks and artillery while 120 Kibbutz members held them off for 5 days. This allowed enough time for Israel to regroup and defeat the Egyptians. Yad Mordechai is known for its honey production. Only YHVH could have held this attack off with the help of 120 fearless men who knew what YHVH said about His land. A land that was promised to Israel alone that was flowing with milk and honey! No wonder this tiny town is targeted so often. The two trees stand in Yad Mordechai witnessing to the world YHVHs intention to bring every last Jew home!! Uniting them together again! AMEN! How sweet will that day be?
