Here is some video with Steve Biko speaking on The Black Consciousness Movement in an interview conducted shortly before he was murdered in a South African jail by the SA police. He was arrested on August 18, 1977 for opposing and speaking against the apartheid oppression inflicted upon the black people of South Africa by the South African government. He died on September 12, 1977 of the injuries he received while being tortured and beaten by them for the few weeks he was in their custody. He did not die from a hunger-strike as was falsly reported in the SA media. He was not the type injure or kill himself in order to further his cause. Over 20,000 people came to Steves funeral, and many more thousands were prevented from going to the funeral by the SA police and other SA authorities. A man at Steves funeral gathering said, Some may have said that he might have died from cerebral contusion. The others will say that he died from hunger.... (the funeral gathering started to get very angry...the man pauses and then continues) ...and I say that he died from hunger...but the type of hunger he died from is the type of hunger which leads to free people from their bondage. (The gathering cheers) He was a TRUE martyr for the cause of freedom and equality and may God be pleased with his works. Amen. God is definitly NOT pleased with the murderers of Steve, and those who murder other people of good will. Those who did not repent from murdering The Prophets (May Peace and Blessings from God be upon all of them. Amen.), and those who do not repent from murdering people of good will will not be a part of Earths society (or any other society) after Judgment Day. Their spirits will be deleted from all-that-is by Yud Heh Vav Heh (THE God of all-that-is). The first part of this video starts with 1 minute and 6 seconds of actual video/audio of Steve speaking. The rest of the first and second parts are only audio of the entire interview with a photograph of Steve I dubbed onto the audio track.
