Here is something else that comes up, fairly often. I have a very large Facebook following now. I administer seven different Facebook pages and I get A WHOLE LOT of questions and comments. Indeed, it is not unusual to get emails several paragraphs long. And yet many people get really annoyed with me if I do not respond to a lot of them, including personal issues in their lives. I have a family, a personal life, my own researches, bills to pay, books that I am writing and the burden of responding to people who want to know entire history of Africa right now this minute and call me everything but the son of god if I do not respond in a manner that they deem appropriate! And yet to most of these people it never occurs to them to buy one of my books or invite me to a lecture or to purchase a DVD. What is a brother to do?
