Here is something you will never get in an American newspaper. An actual history lesson about the Middle East. The British and the French created the mess during the First World War and then sealed the deal with the Versailles Treaty in Paris in 1919. So now we are going to clean up the mess that is coming to a head after almost 100 years? Artificial countries cobbled together by the bureaucrats of two fading global powers. We will be like the cop who tries to break up a domestic disturbance. If we take the side of one we will earn eternal enmity from the other. Stay out of this squabble!
