Here is the 2nd song I played as a member of the Seldom Scene, at the Birchmere on New Years Eve 1995. The first tune was Our last goodbye. I know all this because I listened to that set tonight. I remember thinking, Ive got to nail this intro by Mike Auldridge, with all of the past members of the band looking on. Well listening back, I thought it was acceptable, or as Duffey would say, adequate, LOL. Its one of my favorites, written by John Duffey and Ann Hill, powerful words for sure, especially in the chorus. Ive have had the great fortune to sing it with the band since John passed.
