Here is the Funny! Most of those that are familiar with me know that I have my own little IT gig, and that, in part, is how I generate income. Ok, so last evening I was called out to a new clients house... and something so goddamned funny happened that I have NO CHOICE but to share it with yall here. Ok so I was at my clients home sitting at their desk working on this womans computer. Nice home, definitely well-to-do folks, fairly prim and proper-esque. And the laptop of hers that I was working on was a computer running Windows 8, which, overall, as an operating system, I tend to have a handful of personal issues with. So anyway, Im working away, and as per usual, the client was kind of annoyingly watching what I was doing from right over my shoulder. After a few minutes of her inspecting what I was doing, she, for whatever reason, left the room... and though its always a bit of a relief when a client backs off as she had... it wasnt but a few minutes before I had completely forgotten about her. At some point, unbeknownst to me, she had crept back into the room where I was working, and was again sort of silently standing behind me watching what was being done to her puter. I was having some issues at that point, and I wasnt clear how I was going to get out from under the lil dilemmas i was experiencing. In my quasi frustration, I blurted aloud the following words: Windows 8 can suck my dick... and within nano-seconds after I said that.... I hear this womans voice say... Oh my, I wasnt aware of just how far technology had come. ----- No doubt some of you wont get the humor above. What she meant was, just in case you dont get the humor... what she meant was: technology has come so far that Windows 8 is now able to suck ones dick. Perhaps you had to be present to appreciate it, but to me (and her) it was soooo funny. I mean I didnt even know she was behind me at that point, and she didnt lose a beat in saying what she did.... plus I had turned around in agony when I heard her voice thinking I had sooo messed up by saying such a thing in a proper clients house... but she couldnt have cared less about the less than classy content, and instead she joined in the fray with an extremely quick and witty finish to my Windows 8 comment.
