(AP) - Arkansas officials say search crews have discovered the bodies of a man and his infant son who were reported missing in the Ouachita Mountains late last week. Yell County Sheriff Bill Gilkey says the body of 10-month-old Harper Floyd was discovered by search crews around 1:30 p.m. The body of the father, 33-year-old Brian Floyd, was discovered about an hour later. Autopsies are pending. HARRISON, Ark. (AP) -A Bull Shoals police chief accused of using excessive force against a domestic violence suspect last year should have his retrial moved from Fayetteville back to Harrison. Thats what his lawyer is saying. Defense attorney Bruce Eddy says Daniel Sutterfield lives in Bull Shoals and so does Nicholas Dore, the person Sutterfield is accused of kicking and using a stun gun on. MANSFIELD, Ark. (AP) - Authorities are hoping surveillance footage from gas stations might help them find a search-and-rescue truck stolen from the Northwest Scott County Volunteer Fire Department. Fire Chief Donnie Adkins says the truck was last seen driving through Witcherville north toward Fort Smith. It only had about 85 miles to go before it needed fuel. LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Gov. Mike Beebe says $300,000 is being released from the Governors Disaster Fund to provide help for people affected by the severe storms and flooding that began in late June. Eligible homeowners and renters who lost their primary homes in Monroe, St. Francis or Woodruff counties will be able to apply for disaster assistance from July 31 through Aug. 13.
