Here is the latest information from Rocky Mountain Power: Currently, Rocky Mountain Power has more than 13,696 customers statewide without power, including 975 customers in Buffalo. Other affected areas in the state include Cody, Douglas, Edgerton, Lander/Riverton, Laramie, Midwest, Sinclair, Thermopolis, Worland and others. All available Rocky Mountain Power personnel and additional contract crews are involved with the restoration. Because of the thousands of downed trees and limbs, and damaged power lines, restoration efforts could extend into the weekend for some areas. Rocky Mountain Power reminds people not to touch downed power lines and to keep children and pets way from them, as well. Please do not try to remove limbs yourself when a downed power line is involved. Please report any downed power lines to Rocky Mountain Power by calling 1-877-508-5088.
