Here is the latest update on my precious Chuck! I just got off the phone with him. He walked this morning at 4:30. He told the nurses, Since I am standing we might as well go for a walk. He is doing wonderful. Everything is going as planned and they continue to be amazed at his progress. He feels awful and his throat hurts much more than his chest. He says it is excruciating pain when he swallows due to the tube. Lets keep praying for comfort and healing. He requested No visitors. The last thing I need to do is talk. He told me he would be walking 3 more times today. It will be a hard day, but Im a fighter and Im going to get better! Also, while we were talking he kept saying how he just couldnt believe that this happened! This is big! Who wouldve thought I wouldnt have been going back home last Thursday night but instead having a heart attack! Hes pretty overwhelmed but God has been right beside him and is His constant in this, and every other situation. I have to say that the nurses all love him. They say hes the gentle man. Hes going to get better but these next few days will be physically hard and emotionally tough also. Keep praying. We could not do it without you. Our entire family feels the prayers and are so thankful for your love and support! I must also add that so many people have heard about Jesus through Chuck. He is truly a living testimony and he touches everyone he meets. We all know that. Thank you again! We couldnt make this journey without you! Psalm 91: 1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
