Here is the link in regards to the accident that happened yesterday in the Port Austin Harbor. People should be aware that swimming along or near the break wall(s) is extremely dangerous. The current is typically stronger and the waves are larger due to the water bouncing off the wall. All of this creates turbulent water and should be avoided. Port Austin has many great beaches to take advantage of for swimming and enjoying the warm weather.
