Here is the new arrival at the Rancho! No name yet...but poor little guy has multiple problems. He was neutered today and had dental surgery with 4 extractions. I took him directly to my vet on our trip home from the shelter...the issue with his left eye is a traumatic, untreated, deep corneal ulcer. It is extremely painful for him. And.....there is evidence of an old, untreated trauma to his skin covering his penis, so the full length of his glans are completely exposed. The veterinary ophthalmologist is our next stop....an urgent visit due to the condition of his eye. Despite his discomfort, he let me cuddle him and carry him. Amazing... considering wverything he has been through. I think he senses better, pain free and loving days are ahead.♡
