(Part 3, Skeeth) I walked up to the two brothers that were sitting on the side-walk and started a conversation. Are you two hungry? I have a crab that I can share with you two if ya want. Just need some time to prepare it. The two boys looked at me, kind of frightened. The little one crawled behind the older one seeking for protection. I dropped my bow and quiver on the ground and showed them the crab and continued the conversation, even though it seemed like they were not talking. You dont have to be afraid of me. The older one suddenly grabbed an arrow from my quiver, waved it in front of me and said: Go away, leave us alone. He seemed really scared. I wonder what made him like this. They probably have seen horrific things. It seems like there is no way to convince them I am friendly, might as well let them be like they are, so I replied: Okay, I will. Please allow me to pick up my bow, quiver and crab and then I will be on my way. Do you think we are stupid? We are young but not dumb. You may pick up the crab but then be gone. But I cant hunt without my bow. I dont care. If you even come near the bow or quiver, I will stab you with this arrow. From the look of his eyes I could see he was seriously scared of me and just wanted me gone, so I complied. I grabbed the crab and went back to the guildhall. I will think of a way to get a new bow, but first I will go to Calverin. As I arrived at the guildhall, I knocked on the door. A voice from the other side of the door answered to my knocking. Who is there? Its Skeeth, I am here on the request of Calverin. Ah yes, he told us you would come. The door is open, come in. As I opened the door and went inside, I noticed that my expectations of the guildhall were clearly too high, it didnt even come close to it. Instead of the big dinning tables, there were a few small round tables. Instead of the big chandeliers, there were cheap candles on each table. And not to forget, instead of the lots of food and beer, there was practically nothing. At one table, there were two people eating a small bit of food what seems to be like bread only. One was a male, of the fighter class. The other was a female, an archer. From the looks of it, they were in the third generation of the classes. Warrior and Scout. Next to the archer was a young little girl that was being given bread by the female while playing with her doll. Suddenly I heard a voice which was Calverins if my memory was correct. Skeeth, glad you made it, follow me.. I followed him into a room which seems to be his private chamber where he lives. I toke a seat in one of his chairs and drobbed the crab on the table: I must say, this was not what I expected. Calverin lied down on his couch and looked at me kinda puzzled. What do you mean? What did you expect then? I dont know. Something a bit more, typical guildhall like. Calverin laughed and replied: Yeah, I guess the guild isnt a good as it was in the early days. We are getting smaller every day. Hell, you noticed the fighter and archer in the hall? You mean the ones with the kid? Yeah, I saw them. The fighter is Bat and the archer is Euphie. The kid that is with them is their daughter Sheetah. Me and them are the only members left of this guild. The funds are running low and we barely get to eat anymore. The only thing we can afford for now are just a few loafs of bread every day and thats it. Wow, that was the last I expected. Shall we cook this crab then? Again Calverin laughed which started to annoy me a bit. Whats so funny?! It was a serious question. You are welcome to try it, but I hate it. I would rather starve to death then eat a crab again. Was sick for two days the last time I ate one. You would have to know how to prepare one and which parts are eatable, it can be tricky for those that dont. Then why did you suggest to eat it together when we met on the stairs near the square? Yeah, that was just to get you in here and see our situation. I need your help with something. So you tricked me? Okay, thats it. I stood up, grabbed the crab and stormed out of the chamber into the guildhall. Calverin decided to stay in his chamber for a bit and watched my reaction. As I walked into the guildhall, I suddenly stopped when I noticed that Sheetah, the little kid, was playing with dolls together with the two boys I met outside. Sheetah noticed me staring at them and invited me to play with them: Hey mister, wanna play with dolls with us? The older boy looked at me and said: Its you.. Sheetah wondered how we knew each other and the little boy told her how they met me. Again, she asked if I wanted to play with them and I could not reject it. So there I sat on the ground playing with dolls with three children. Suddenly the older boy started talking to me again: I am very sorry about before. I am very protective of my little brother here. I never saw you here before so I didnt knew you were part of the guild. I replied: I am not. Atleast, not yet.. Oh, you should be. Bat and Euphie here are like my parents, they take care of me and my little brother and are very nice. I am Ghandi, by the way. My little brother here is called Daan. I am Skeeth. Nice to meet you Skeeth. So, fresh start? As soon as I get my bow and quiver back, sure. Yeah, about that, we had no idea how to use them so we just left them there where we met. As I heard him saying that, I jumped up and ran out of the guildhall. I rushed towards the sidewalk where I met Ghandi and Daan and tripped over something. The crab I had still on me fell on the street and a nearby dog toke it and ran off. For god sake. I didnt bother to go after the dog, he probably needs it more then I do. I stood up and continued to the sidewalk that was mentioned earlier. As I arrived, I looked around and did not see my bow and quiver. Why dont you come back to the guildhall and I will give you a new bow.. I looked back to see who said that and I saw the female archer Euphie staring at me. (End of part 3) How will Skeeth react?
