Here is the opening of my Zombie story...enjoy! *Warning* Although this story is a work of fiction, it deals with very serious subject matters that are based on true events. This story contains very graphic, disturbing and upsetting material (very tabboo) which some people may find very offensive, if in doubt do not read. Zombie Holocaust!! Chapter 1. Prelude to destruction. At dawn on Friday 1st of September 1939 Nazi forces invaded Poland by land, sea & air, no declaration of war had been made, but World War II had begun. Reinhard Heydrich under-secretary to Heinrich Himmler (Hitlers No2 and leader of the SS) is declared Governer of Polands provinces. Thursday 21st September 1939: The Heydrich Plan is put in motion. 600,000 Jews from Northern & Western Poland are to be transported to urban ghettos in Central Poland. Sunday 19th November 1939: Nazi forces erect barricades round Jewish quarter of Warsaw, creating appauling living conditions. With little food and terrible sanitation, disease and hunger was widespread among the Jewish people as they waited for whatever fate the Führer had in mind for them. Wednesday 21st February 1940: The SS Inspectorate of the newly established Polish Concentration Camps reports to Himmler that Auschwitz is suitable for use as a quarantine centre. Hundreds of Thousands of Jews are transported to Auschwitz Labour Camp where they will be worked to death. Thursday 31st July 1941: Fieldmarshall Hermann Göring (on Hitlers instructions) orders Reinhard Heydrich to make all necessary preperations for a solution to the question of how to bring about the destruction of the Jews. Tuesday 20th January 1942: At the Wannsee Conference in Berlin Reinhard Heydrich outlines Hitlers plans for The Final Solution to the Jewish problem. All European Jews are to deported to Eastern Europe, mainly Poland to either die from forced labour or worse. Friday 27th February 1942: Orders are given for the building of five Crematoria at Auschwitz, capable of processing 12,000 gas chamber victims per day. Monday 19 April 1943: Warsaw Ghetto. Following the deportation of 310,000 Jews in 1942-1943, the SS move to destroy the remaining 63,000. Over 7,000 Jews were killed in the 27 day process, 7,000 captured & shot, 20,000 sent to forced labour camps and 22,000 sent to concentration camps. 1943: Auschwitz! To be continued...
