Yolanda Sangweni, South Africa, Senior Editor/Producer, ESSENCE Born to a South African freedom fighter mother, who fled from the apartheid regime to the United States when Sangweni was a small child and lived in Harlem during her formative years, she is Senior Editor at ESSENCE, one of the leading publications for Black women in the United States.
