I can’t put my finger on it, but just talk to her and you’ll see. Though she is new on the scene for publically selling her artwork for covers, she has an extensive background in art and design. I am sad that she doesn’t have a website just yet, but her facebook page provides ample examples of her abilities. She handraws cartoons for covers per author requests – yes, I said hand draws – and she is quite the digital art pro. It’s a pity there aren’t more cover samples (or even pre-mades) but she is just getting this show on the road. That said, I want to smack her for charging so little. Well, okay, it’s a great thing – but I don’t think the dirt low prices will remain there for long (they shouldn’t) so grab ‘em while you can. She has impeccable timing and communications skills and she really gets to the essence of a cover concept without much prodding.
