Here is the story of my night. 8:37 pm - all kids in bed; commence in cleaning up the dishes 9:02 pm - realize the kitchen is a mess because you played all weekend; clean until you just cant anymore 9:39 - begin preparing Bradys lunch for tomorrow 9:52 - go to bee 9:54 - jump out of bed because you remembered that today was the day you were supposed to give the dog her flea treatment; do so 10:06 - go back to bed 1:12 am - awake to hear Brady asking for a drink of water and if he can sleep in your bed 2:21 - awake to Hannah gently touching your face asking if she can sleep in your bed 2:22 - take Hannah to Bradys bed because here just isnt room in your for all four of you 2:49 - hear Koen squealing with delight and rolling over in his crib 2:52 enter Koens room to find the happiest baby on the planet; rock him for 30 minutes while he grins, gives sloppy open-mouthed kisses, and talks about how great it is to be awake at 3am 3:21 lay him back in his crib; go back to Bradys bed and hope your absence has not awaken Hannah 3:25 - go downstairs and console the dog, who is obviously upset she wasnt invited to the all-night party 3:36 - go back to bed...to Bradys bed...thankful that you can steal another 1.5hrs of sleep before your alarm goes off That was the story of my night. And I loved it!
