Here is the story that prompted this group. I remember my first day when he, Mr Donovan, was calling roll. We were seated alphabetically and Hugh New (sp?) was in front of me. Not to be confused with one who actually paid attention to what was going on, when Mr Donovan called out Hughs name, he responded here, and when he called out mine, I replied no, Im not new! Everyone lost it! Being clueless then as I can be today, it took me a second to realize what had happened! I was embarrassed, but am able to look back now an laugh heartily! What scared me most was he remembered I was the younger brother of my older smarter sister, Susan! I knew this wasnt going to end well. But, it did.
