Here is the swarm update. The swarm is sitting happily high up in a neighbours tree. I went over and she was happy for me to take it away but there are complications. First, it must be at least 6 metres up. Secondly, it is on a branch that is leaning over the fence so it is above her neighbours roof. Thirdly, the neighbour had his roof recently fixed and is unlikely to want somebody scrambling on it to get a bunch of bees. If the swarm was in her backyard I think I would have used this technique: https://youtube/watch?v=TTOUnBa0T80 I think I have to accept this one is in the too hard basket unless anybody has a better suggestion.
