Here is the text of the post removed from the 92 Moose Facebook page: I applaud Townsquare Media. They have a vision that is WAY beyond Cumulus or Clear Channel or any other radio group in the world. They are embracing the 21st century, the internet and social media like no other company I’ve ever seen! They will be the rulers in the radio world because the hierarchy are smart, forward thinkers. I love that! All that said, I’m afraid I, Jonny James, am not at a point where I can perform at their level. In addition to the radio show, they want two stories a day, posted at the 92moose.fm website. A regular, corporate minded person, could do that. It just so happens, however, that I am running two businesses outside of the radio station…. americanwomenwhobeararms (with local businessman, Roger Pomerleau…NRF Distributors, the Marketplace at Augusta and the former Frank X. Pomerleau’s) and thevoiceguy.net, a national production company, which I do many national commercials for). If this all comes to end tomorrow, I want it to be known that Alfred Perry and Mac Dickson have been the two best supervisors I have ever worked for. Kind, understanding, honest. caring and real people. THAT, my friends, I cannot put a value on. They have created a work environment that is second to none I have ever worked for. They are to be applauded and revered. Great men, to say the least. Mac works tireless hours and asks for no more compensation, which he sorely deserves. Do I love doing what I do? Being on the radio with Mac and Renee, my second family, each morning? Yes. Without a doubt. I love them and thank them for all the many years of great work and, hopefully, some ahead. Do I accept this may get me exiled from the company? Yes, I do. But I’ve been doing the morning show at 92 Moose for almost 24 years (on my daughter, Michelle’s, birthday). I want to stay but, if I don’t fit the corporate framework, I will gracefully bow out. I’ve never been someone who says what the higher ups have “wanted” to hear. There’s more comfort in being truthful, and that’s what I’m being now. Let it be known, 92 Moose couldn’t be in better hands. I’d like to continue to be a part but if that’s not in the cards, then so be it. Read More: Jon James: If It All Ends Tomorrow, Im Happy with What Ive Done | 92moose.fm/?p=217430&trackback=tsmclip
