Here is the update on the memorial service for my sister Joan (Strauss) Thompson) which will be this Saturday the 19th of July at The Bridge Church of the Nazarene ( formerly known as Bloomington Church of the Nazarene). at 11:00am in the church sanctuary. I want to thank all of you so much for your condolences, kind words of comfort and phone calls. It was and obvious shock and too early in life at 61 years old but heaven is the richer place today for their newest gain. My friend Blake Woodhall said it best in his comment when he said that in a matter of one week Ame and I had experienced the highest peak of the mountain top with our news and graduation of Levi from Ranger School, only to fall down into the deepest valley with the call of the sudden unexpected loss of my sister Joan. Your thoughts and prayers have lifted us to help give us the strength to deal with it all. It is only because we serve such an awesome god that we can have hope and peace in times like this. It is so amazing that FB helps to reach all of you out there that we could otherwise not have contact on a regular basis. Thank you for your responses, help and prayers We love you all.
