Here is the written message of the woman who spoke at the St - TopicsExpress

Here is the written message of the woman who spoke at the St Louis Council Meeting. Due to the screaming, and yelling at the council meeting it was difficult to understand what the woman was saying when she was trying to speak. She has graciously given us permission to post her message ! This is basically what I said: I have come here tonight as a resident of St. Louis County to provide my thoughts and point of view on the events that have happened this past month in North County and throughout St. Louis County. Just like any person is presumed innocent until proven guilty, our law enforcement officers and the court system must be assumed impartial and without prejudice, until they prove to us otherwise. Not before. I believe that we must put our support in our elected officials and our civil servants, until they prove that they do not deserve our trust and support. As I have observed the actions of our elected officials and civil servants, I have been embarrassed by those that demean their office and their position, by assuming other elected officials or civil servants are incapable of executing their responsibility in the manner that is demanded, solely for the purpose of pandering to one group or another. However, I have been encouraged by other elected officials and civil servants who have taken pride in the un-biased execution of their office or position. These individuals have shown courage and integrity to execute what is required by our laws, and not turn a difficult situation into a popularity contest. I chose to support our police and our elected officials to execute a fair and law based resolution, until they prove to me they cannot. I chose to assume the legal system of St. Louis County will seek law-based justice. I chose to reject outside parties from Jefferson City and our nations capital who come to St. Louis County with a guilty until proven innocent mindset. I ask all our elected officials of St. Louis County to find the courage to resolve recent events through the application of laws, and not the application of appeasement.
