Here is todays SP broadcast for November 3 (oh wow November already?!?). To check it out on the archives, log on to kfai.org/sonicpleasure and click on the listen now button. The shows are kept for two weeks. On tonights show, you got to hear three songs from XTC-one from the Dukes Of Stratosphear (really XTC). I also played some solo Jack White from this year and new Outrageous Cherry-both will be in SPs Best Of 2014 show. During the second half, I played long songs from The Who, Kaleidoscope (U.S.), The Incredible String Band and The Butterfield Blues Band. I also had fun with this weeks cover version segment-Bubbles. The original was from The Free Design from their 1970 album Stars Time Bubbles Love and the cover done Powerpuff Girls style by Dressy Bessy from 2000. An entire show of cover versions will be on in three weeks (November 24). I will also include Alices Restaurant-thank you to Aaron Westendorp for working on it again! He did a great job with that last year so I will gladly play it! I closed out SP with Michael Yonkers Smile Awhile. Thank you for a great show! Thank you for the requests and comments!
