Here is what I posted on the Pledge site as I was listening to the new album over 2 months ago. As they get further along on their artistic journey they are putting a fine point on all of the unique sounds and qualities that we have all come to expect from them. I cant help but think that when this whole thing started over 10 years ago that the band of Nothing and Nowhere and Violet would be so pleased with the band that has created Superstition. To me there is a real connection between those records and even Walking With Strangers and this new record. It is like they have been on some kind of journey to arrive at the place where they are now. Beyond is a taste of what to me is their best record yet. It incorporates everything that I like about the band and their music. I know that once you hear the full record, you wont be disappointed! If you like what you are hearing.... tell a friend who may not know about us! I saw the latest edit of the video today and Dan Oulette has done his usual great job in presenting the band.
