Here is you a story- Jasmine. Several months ago this mama dog and pups were dumped in Erath county one night. Folks began posting the dump on Fb. I think someone tried to catch her but reported she couldnt be caught. Many people began to post the words shared and hopes someone helps her ...and then Kaitlin Adams came into our lives. She and her boy friend went out to the site, and caught them. No glory. No fanfare. And fostered them. They contacted CARE to see if we could help find homes. She would foster. We got them vetted. Got the mama spayed. And joint effort the pups were adopted. Kaitlin began working with the shy mama. We posted on our Petfinder page her personality. Shy. We preferred to adopt to a family that was not fast paced. Not a lot of men in and out of her life, as she seemed more shy around them. Months later...2 weeks ago Natalie from Waco called us. Asking about Jazz. And Solo. Another rescue with similar personality we have. She wanted to meet them both. We spoke for a while on why these 2 rescues were of interest to her. She explained her dog of over 10 years was the same kind of rescue. She died a couple of weeks before she contacted us. We agreed for a meet and she drove from Waco. Met them both. And spent over an hour with each. Showed pics of her home. Gave information of her vet for us to call. She departed later in the day to consider. And called us back this week and said she couldnt stop thinking of Jasmine. She drove back today and made the adoption. We are very happy and pleased with Jazzs life as she begins a new chapter.
