The entire shareholders meeting was only an hour long and was clearly scripted to be a celebration of the 17.8 BILLION dollar profit JP Morgan showed last year. We spoke for over 10 minutes - a huge portion of a global corporate agenda and demanded that Jamie Dimon keep his promise to match the funding of BofA and GE and restore the vitality which existed before the mortgage crisis when over 300 Million in equity was stripped through predatory lending practices. Jamie Dimon did not promise to fix this or even to meet with us, but he did say that he would call Jeff (Imelt - CEO of GE) and Bill (Moynihan - CEO of BofA) and do what was right. Jamie Dimon was visibly shaken with how we changed the tenure of the meeting - especially when we offered a powerful litany of prayer calling for leadership with integrity prophet-ability with the rising up of the community instead of profitability over them - which, we found out, was the only time any group has prayed as part of a JPMC shareholders meeting. Now we keep up the pressure by talking with our Senators - especially those on the Federal Banking Commission.
