Here it is at 12:21 am and Im making a pot of coffee. I got kinda chilly and needed a warm drink. Its been a boring couple days. Sent my husband to Elk hunt in Colorado. I cant imagine the cold, snow, and ice hes facing. I will be glad when he is safely home. I dont think Im ready for the cold weather yet. Can we do a rewind? Lol.. This year is winding down. Its so close to Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and Christmas! We will soon start making preparations for the New Year and Summer once again will be upon us. Gosh... Another year gone. So much has happened in this year. Dollar General, Dos Rios Mexican Grill, Salty Jacks building up, Trail Rides going strong, Canoes going out, and many other things to be thankful for. The beautiful viewing of the Elk at Peck Ranch really made my year and the Re-opening of our most precious assets Alley Spring, Round Springs, and the many other Parks. Mrs. Cathy Hicks has provided us with the fun and exciting Shannon County Farmers Market! See even in the Fall there are many things to see with us! Come check out what we have to offer....
