Here it is: magnetic south is contracting; magnetic north is expanding. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Magnetic_quadrupole_moment.svg When we say a proton is slightly negative, we mean the equator is a magnetic south, and the expanding poles (making it electropositive) are essentially two magnetic north poles at either end (the electron, obviously, is the inverse, hence, both are dipolar). Mainstream academia & science may attempt to confuse us with abstract expressions like positive & negative, north & south, but when we look at the phenomena actually detected, what we observe is expansion & contraction, & theory be damned.
