Here my drawing of how to make a drain for a TVR flush toilet with tyres at your cattle post. Dig a hole 2m long x 1.5m wide and 1.5m deep. On the side close to the toilet, stag truck tyres on top of each other with one with a hole at the bottom, with hole facing away from the toilet. The top one will have the hole facing to the toilet. Stag now smaller tyres with the bottom one having the hole facing the big tyres and connect a sewarage pipe between these 2 stags of tyres at the bottom. At the top of the small tyre stag, the hole must face away and it must be lower than the inlet hole from the toilet. This hole will now let water with desolved solids go into the soak away where you can plant fruit trees to utilize the water. In a frost area the fig tree or grapes is the best and in frost free area, Bananas or pawpaw is the best. After stagging the tyres, you fill in aound them with soil and compact it as you go up. Cover the top of the tyres with a corrugated iron that animals and children cant fall in the holes of the tyres. The mechanism is that the solids and water will go in the first tank. Here the solids will drift on top and as the organisms eat, it will disolve in the water and go down and out to the second tank at the bottom and finally out to the soak away at the top of the second tank. In normal cattle post situations the water will not even reach the soak away except if you have many workers and also let them use the toilet.
