Here, take a look. There are quite significant effects in life extension when we alter the animals genome from the beginning. A worm lives 10 times longer, a mouse - two times. This is genetic engineering. However, our goal is to increase lifespan in an animal that has already been born and has a normal genome. This we can do with the help of gene therapy. We can deliver genes that extend lifespan to not a very young animal. Our goal is to transfer the successes of genetic engineering to gene therapy. This is not all. We can see that one thing does good for a not so young animal, and another thing does good for a not so young animal. Lets apply both things to this not so young animal so it starts feeling really wonderful! Moreover, we can apply the combination of 10 therapies. We dont know the optimal combination, but can find it experimentally. This is the project that we propose to achieve life extension. One minor thing is left to do - find 100 million dollars for its implementation.
