Here we go. Day One of my five most inspirational songs. Thanks to Mike Rawlins for the nomination. It was hard enough to list a top 20 favourite songs in the summer with a challenge from Mary. But in many ways I thought it might be easier as these five have had to inspire you and not just be your favourites... wrong again. I reached 15 and then cut it down to 10. Five songs posted over five days, and you can say as little or as much as you like about the reason why. Anyway, heres the first. What a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong. 1967. Great song from my childhood which sums up the way we should treat each day. Twenty years later, introduced by the late, great Robbie Williams, it gained another audience in Good Morning Vietnam, and that was a special time for me again personally, making life-long friends on the PTA and being in the middle of really good days at work. https://youtube/watch?v=4FmLNtVoeo8
